Organised by SCS, RAC 2025 aims to raise funds for Singapore Cancer Society programmes and services including cancer treatment subsidies, welfare assistance, cancer rehabilitation, hospice care, cancer screenings, research, public education, and cancer support group initiatives.
All funds raised will help to drive SCS's programmes and services such as the SCS Cancer Care Fund, SCS Cancer Rehabilitation Centre, SCS Cancer Treatment Fund, SCS Welfare Aid Fund and SCS Help the Children and Youth Programme.
RAC exists to make our statement against cancer, to Minimise Cancer and Maximise Lives.
No one should fight cancer alone - this event invites people of all walks of life to join in the fight and run alongside those who are impacted by cancer.

Physical Race
For the 2KM Parent-Child fun run category, child participants must be between 3 years old to 12 years old as of 21 Sep 2025.
For the 5KM fun run category, participants must be minimum 6 years old and older as of 21 Sep 2025. All participants aged 12 and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the same category.
For the 10KM and 15KM categories, participants must be minimum 13 years old and older, as of 21 Sep 2025. All participants aged 18 years old and below should be accompanied by parents or guardians and parental/guardian consent should be obtained.

Additionally, event entitlements are only available for collection in Singapore. We are not able to mail them overseas.Kindly log on to your profile to make the changes.

There is no maximum number of members for team registration.

Medals will be awarded to participants who complete the 10KM and 15KM Competitive Race categories. Children who participate in the 2KM Parent-Child Fun Run will receive a participation medal.
The 5KM category is a non-competitive fun run, and no medals will be awarded upon completion.Yes. All participants in the competitive categories (10KM and 15KM) will get their nett race timing. Prize winners and ranking are based on gun time. These will be available via the event website after the event.
Please note that the 2KM Parent-Child and 5KM fun run categories are not a timed race.Yes, you can.
For unregistered children, kindly ensure there is a guardian at all times accompanying the children. They can enjoy the festivities at the event area. Do note that if they did not register for the race, they would not be able to accompany you on the race route.

Virtual RaceVolunteers will be stationed along the route to assist in high congestion areas, and the first aid team will be on standby throughout the event. If any runners require immediate assistance during the race, they must approach any of the organiser staff or volunteers for support. Ambulance services will be available if needed.
Please be aware that participants who are unable to complete the race will not be eligible to receive the finisher's medal (for the 10KM and 15KM categories) or any prizes (if applicable).Please note that transport will NOT be provided. Participants are required to make their own way to Angsana Green, East Coast Park.

The Virtual Race category allows you to participate at any time and place.
You will need to clock your distance selected cumulatively during the virtual race period (21 Sep 2025 (Sun) to 15 Oct 2025 (Wed)). We recommend that you can take the park connectors (PCNs) or parks near your home.
You will need to track your date and time, distance, duration, and route map using Strava (GPS-enabled app).All Virtual Race participants will receive an event T-shirt*, a medal (if the minimum fundraising amount is met), and an e-certificate upon completion of the challenge. Should your Strava be different accounts (e.g., Website linked to Strava - Facebook Account, but your phone is linked to Strava - Google Account), you will not be able to upload your activities onto your RAC profile correctly. If this occurs, please proceed to unlink the current account, and relink the correct account.

Please ensure your activities are recorded on the Strava app to the race website for the data to be captured and uploaded. If any submissions are not reflected by the 3rd working day, you may email us at rac@singaporecancersociety.org.sg or support@wobs.sg.To ensure accurate tracking and synchronisation of activities, our backend system has been specifically designed to integrate with the Strava app for participation in the Virtual Race category. As such, it is mandatory for participants to link their Strava account to our system in order to take part.
We sincerely apologise to those who use alternative fitness tracking apps - we understand this may be an inconvenience. However, we are currently unable to support other platforms for this event. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain the integrity and efficiency of the Virtual Race.Please be advised that submissions from treadmills, step trackers, or pedometers will not be accepted for the virtual race. Most treadmills and tracking devices do not provide the necessary data, such as date/time and route map, which are required for validation. Furthermore, these devices cannot be tracked using the Strava app, which is a mandatory part of the race tracking process.
In order to participate, you must download and register for a Strava account, and sync it with the race website to ensure proper tracking and submission of your race data.It is mandatory for all participants to record their own activities using the Strava app. Submissions from treadmills, step trackers, or pedometers will not be accepted, as these devices do not provide the necessary date/time and route map data, nor can they be tracked through the Strava app.
Should you encounter any issues syncing your activities, please ensure you delink and relink your active Strava account to resolve the problem.

Due to the expected large crowds, we strongly encourage you to collect your Race Packs and Race Bibs on Race Entitlement Pack Collection Day.
We highly recommend that you pick up your race packs at the Race Entitlement Pack Collection to avoid any inconvenience on event day, especially if you missed the REPC collection day.The Race Entitlement Pack Collection (REPC) for qualified Physical Race participants (2KM, 5KM, 10KM, 15KM) will take place during early September.
Qualified* participants in the Physical Race categories (2KM, 5KM, 10KM, 15KM) will need to pick up their race bib for Race Day. Additionally, if you opted to receive the Event T-shirt and Goodie Bag during registration, your race pack (goodie bag) will contain the T-shirt, run bag, and other sponsored items.
Qualified participants in the Virtual Race (21KM, 42KM and 60KM) will receive details about the collection of their race entitlement pack after 12 Oct 2025.
*To qualify for the Physical Race, participants must meet the minimum fundraising amount corresponding to their selected race category (e.g., $60 for 2KM, $60 for 5KM, $65 for 10KM, $70 for 15KM).If you are unable to collect your Race Pack in person, please ensure that you authorize someone to pick it up on your behalf. The authorized person must submit the completed hardcopy authorization form at the time of collection.
Please be aware that the organizing team will not release any Race Packs to unauthorized individuals without the necessary supporting documents (click here for authorization form).No. Changing of T-Shirt size is strictly prohibited during the race pack collection period.

To ensure a smooth experience, please complete your registration prior to these deadlines.You can share your public profile page (by clicking the social media icons) with your family and friends and ask them to support you. All donations will go to support the Singapore Cancer Society.
The total amount of funds you’ve raised and the people who donated via your page will be shown in your profile page.
When you donate to a team profile page, your donation will be shared equally among all team members. For example, if you donate $500 to a team with five members, each member will "receive" $100 from your contribution.
On the other hand, when you donate to a team member's profile page, your donation will go directly to that individual member and will not be shared with the rest of the team.
Regardless of whether you donate to a team or a team member, the total amount raised will be reflected in the overall team total.Corporate and individual donors who make outright donations and have provided their full NRIC No., FIN, or UEN, along with their name at the time of donation, will receive tax-deductible receipt for the full donation amounts, and eligible for 2.5 times tax deduction.
Donors do not need to declare the donation separately. We will submit the donation details to IRAS; the tax deduction will be auto-included in your tax return.
For those who did not provide their identity number, a non-tax deductible receipt will be issued.The available payment/donation options on the Race Against Cancer website are via Credit Card (excluding AMEX) or Debit Card only. The donations are collected via Red Dot Payment, a secure payment platform.
