Race Against Cancer has been raising funds for Singapore Cancer Society’s (SCS) programmes and services every year since 2009 and is one of our nation’s longest-standing charity runs.
These generous donations have supported our different services:To help alleviate financial constraints, SCS offers a range of assistance schemes for cancer patients and their families including the Cancer Care Fund, Welfare Aid Fund and Cancer Treatment Fund.
Early detection saves lives. SCS offers screening services at no cost including Mammogram, HPV Test, Pap Test & the Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) to detect breast cancer, cervical cancer, and colorectal cancer respectively.
SCS strives to reduce cancer incidence by actively promoting cancer awareness & prevention through public programmes, campaigns & community outreach.
The cancer journey extends beyond treatment. SCS believes in improving the quality of life for our cancer patients & their loved ones through a holistic psychosocial service.
Our community-based rehab centre provides integrated care to cancer patients, survivors & caregivers through tailored programmes for better recovery.
Comprising of doctors, nurses, counsellors, social workers, physiotherapists & occupational therapists, the SCS hospice care team ensures both patients & their families’ needs are addressed, ensuring quality of life during their final days at home.
